Randall L. Handley, 67, of 11 Park Avenue South died Friday, November 28 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, December 2 at First United Methodist Church of Jefferson with interment in Jefferson Cemetery. Friends may call at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson after noon on Monday. The family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends between 6:00 – 8:00pm Monday.

Randall was born September 15, 1936 in Greenfield, Iowa, the son of Cletus and Alma Handley. He graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1954 and from Drake University Law School in 1960. After four years with the Veterans Administration, Randall moved to Jefferson in 1964 where he has practiced Law ever since. He married Nancy Loine Peterson on September 5, 1958 and had 3 children.
Randall was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Iowa Bar Association, and the Greene County Farm Bureau.

Randall is survived by his sister, Dorthy Burkheimer of Ames; his daughter, Corrin Smith of Des Moines; his daughter, Regina Raisch of Des Moines; his son, Ron Handley currently residing in Sydney, Australia; his two grandchildren: Johnathon and Joshua Raisch of Des Moines; and his fiancé Bobbie Godsey.

Randall was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Nancy; and his brother, Robert.
