Obituary of Ruby Cathlena Zimmerle

Ruby Cathlena Mullins Zimmerle was born in rural Paton, Iowa to Francis and Anna Mullins on June 30, 1919. She married Phillip Ores Zimmerle in 1943 and lived on the farm near Paton, and later in Jefferson.

Ruby was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jefferson and past Worthy Matron of E.P. French Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star in Paton.

Ruby Zimmerle died December 11, 2003 at the Greene County Medical Center. She was 84 years of age. Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother Jay; her sister Ethel; and her husband Phillip.

Ruby is survived by two daughters: Sharon and her husband Roger Conant of Jefferson, and Phyllis and her husband Jerry Moss of Minburn; three sons: Frank of Jefferson; William and his wife Rose of Aberdeen, SD; and Howard and his wife Deborah of Fort Dodge. Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.
