Funeral services for Robert Miller, 68, of Grand Junction, will be 10:30am Friday April 2 at First United Methodist Church in Grand Junction. Interment will be at Jefferson Cemetery.

Friends may call at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Grand Junction after 10:30 Thursday morning. The family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends between 6:00 -8:00pm Thursday.

Robert William Miller was born September 25, 1935 in Highland Township, Greene County, Iowa. He was the son of William Edward Miller and Viola Mae Arbuckle Miller.

Bob graduated from Gowrie High School. He served in the United States Army from March 1958 to December 1959 and worked as a radio operator in Germany.

Bob was married to Rita Urelius in 1963. They were the parents of 3 children.

Bob was a long-time Greene county farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Grand Junction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. His dog and cat were dear companions.

Robert Miller died March 30, 2004 at the Greene County Medical Center. He was 68 years of age. His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his 3 children: Michelle Devilbiss and her husband Mark, of Flippin, Arkansas; Carla Chayet of Perry, IA; and Dan Miller of Pocahontas, IA; 1 sister: Peggy Barkley of Gowrie, IA; and two grandchildren.
