On October 3, 1980 God sent a little extra light
into the world and gifted Don and Charlene Wolfe with a son and
Jarad Wolfe with a little brother.
Tanner went to school at Panorama Community School
where he learned the basics; how to goof off, how to make people
laugh and how to play football. He graduated from Panorama High
School in 1999 and spent his remaining years trying to figure out
what he wanted to do when he grew up. He cooked at the Lone Star
restaurant, was employed at Asgrow in Perry and most recently worked
installing pools and spas and just being Tanner.
Tanner was kind, funny, giving and one of a kind.
He made up a large part of our hearts. On February 29, 2004 God
needed that light that was Tanner, so he called him back home. Our
world is a little dimmer now, but his spark lives on in us.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers,
Doc Hurley and Elmer Wolfe, and Aunt Judy VanGundy.
Survivors include his parents, Don and Charlene
Wolfe, Bagley, IA; his brother and best friend, Jarad Wolfe and
fiancé, Stephanie and children, Nathan and Emma, Bagley,
IA; and his sister, Angie Wolfe, Coon Rapids, IA.
Other survivors include his grandparents, LaVern
and Faye Wood, Scranton, IA, and Wonetta Wolfe, Perry, IA; aunts
and uncles: Bob and Chris Strabley and Pat and Linda Hurley, all
of Jefferson, IA; Jim Hurley, Rutland, IA; Mike and Gayle Greco,
Perry, IA; Gary and Janie Wolfe, Dawson, IA; Grace Smith of Michigan,
