Memorial services for Jean Boyle, 86, of Jefferson, formerly
of St. Louis Park, MN, will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 2, 2005
at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home, Jefferson. Interment in Minneapolis
will take place at a later date.
Jean Boyle is survived by her daughter Kathy Morain of Jefferson,
IA two sons: Michael Boyle of Brooklyn Park, MN and James Boyle
of Minneapolis, MN; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and
2 brothers: Wayne Dyson of Prior Lake, MN and Gordon Dyson of
Argo, IL.
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association, the
Diabetes Association of the Greene County Medical Center Long
Term Care Unit.
Jean M. Boyle of Jefferson, Iowa, formerly of St. Louis Park,
MN, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005 in Fort Myers Beach,
FL.
Jean was born May 4, 1918 in Becker, Minnesota to parents Wilfred
and Grace Dyson. Jean graduated from Becker High School in 1936
and the St. Cloud School of Business in 1938. She was employed
by Butler Brothers, Minneapolis until her marriage in 1940.
Jean worked as an assessor for the City of St. Louis Park, MN
until her retirement in 1973. She was a devoted wife, mother and
grandmother. We will miss “Grandma Jean” but rejoice
in the rich legacy she has left us.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of
52 years, Edward. Jean will be deeply missed by her children Kathleen
(Rick) Morain of Jefferson, IA; Michael Boyle of Brooklyn Park,
MN, and James (William Neumann) Boyle of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren
Daniel (Ann) Murray; Molly (Brad) Phillips; David (Erin) Morain,
Brandon Boyle, Matthew Morain, Brent Boyle; great grandchildren
Jeffrey, Laura and Katelyn Murray; brothers Wayne Dyson of Prior
Lake, MN and Gordon Dyson of Argo, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held Saturday, April
2, at 1:00 p.m. at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa.
Private interment in Minneapolis will take place at a later date.

Term Care Unit.
