Marty Lee Tasler, 49, of Panora, died Monday June 20, 2005 at the Taylor House in Des Moines. Marty was born June 10, 1956 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, the son of Marvin and Kay (Pleshek) Tasler. Marty was employed at United Brick and Tile Company of Iowa in Adel. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to the dog races. He is survived by his mom and dad, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hank and Dimple Tasler, and Joe and Fern Pleshek. Marty has been cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Panora, Iowa, on Friday June 24, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylor House at 3401 E. Douglas Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317. |
