Jerry Kuebler Gerald “Jerry” Dean Kuebler, son of Virgil and Maxine (McCollom) Kuebler was born July 15, 1942 in Jefferson, Iowa. He passed away March 28, 2007 at the Boone County Hospital at the age of 64 years. Jerry attended school in Jefferson, but had to leave school to help on the family farm (west of Jefferson) when his father became ill. Later in life, Jerry studied and received his GED. Two of Jerry’s greatest loves were riding his Harley and fishing. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and his dad’s old banjo. Jerry worked for 10 years as a Journeyman Lineman for REC in Jefferson. He then managed and supervised all the electrical installations and maintenance for the City of Carlisle. Finally, he drove delivery and semi-trucks, for local and coast to coast deliveries. He retired in 2004. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, JoLynn Kuebler. Survivors include his wife Pat of Jefferson, IA; four children: Colleen Newell of Jefferson, IA; Deanne (Lance) Meyers of Ackley, IA; Rodney Kuebler of Cedar Rapids, IA; and Tom Dennhardt (Deb) of Jefferson, IA; nine grandchildren: Rachel, Brittany and Darin Newell; Allison Watters; Kellina Kuebler; Katlyn, Tabitha and Mark Kendall; and Nichole Dennhardt; a brother: Denny Kuebler and his wife Cherry of Coweta, OK; a sister: Sharon Anderson and her husband Jon of Gowrie, IA. |
