Graveside funeral services for Kenneth L. Hoyt, 76, of Bagley, were held 10:30am Monday, November 05, 2007 at the Greenbrier Township Cemetery in Greene County.  Pastor Larry Monthei of Hope United Methodist Parish officiated. 

Kenneth L. Hoyt lived from June 30, 1931 until November 2, 2007.  His parents were Keith and Edrie (Delaplain) Hoyt.  Kenneth grew up on a farm in Guthrie County and he attended a one-room school house in Greenebrier before joining the United States Army. He was stationed in Japan where he was a corporal at General McArthur’s Headquarters.  He was honorably discharged in June of 1952.

Kenneth married Elizabeth Edwards on January 31, 1953 in a double wedding with Gene and Mona Sukovaty.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Bagley, IA; a daughter, Linda Gilseth of Newport, OR; a son, Marshall Hoyt of Bagley, IA; 4 grandchildren: Callie Sublette, Josh Brown, Damon Hoyt and Shane Hoyt, and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lindsay Sublette.
