Funeral services for Polly Little, 84, of Jefferson will be 10:00 AM Saturday August 11, 2007 at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson, with burial in Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa at 1:30 pm.

Visitation with the family will be prior to the funeral service on Saturday starting at 8:30 am and continuing until the time of service.

Polly Little, daughter of Harvey and Ada Wilkison Killmer, was born September 3,1922 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Duane Little on August 8, 1948 in Perry, Iowa.

Polly enjoyed working at the family owned Bee and Herald Newspaper for many years.  She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Jefferson and a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing bridge and visiting with her friends. 

On August 8, 2007 Polly died at the Greene County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit at the age of 84years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Little, who died in 1973 and her parents.  Survivors include son, Stephen Little and grandson, Mark Little, both of Clive, Iowa and sister, Betty Courtney of Missouri. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, Central Christian Church of Jefferson, or Hospice of Central Iowa.
