Funeral services for Sarah J. Tamerius, 69, of Jefferson, will be 11:00am Wednesday February 28, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Jefferson.  Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation begins 11:00am Tuesday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, where the family will be present to greet friends between 7:00 - 9:00pm Tuesday.

Sarah J. Tamerius, daughter of Sam and Mary Coghill, was born April 19, 1937 in Lakin, Kansas. She died February 23, 2007 at the Greene County Medical Center at the age of 69 years.

Sarah worked in the medical field for 20 years and was a mother and homemaker.  She was also a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Jefferson.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Gary; her parents; 1 brother, Robert Coghill and 1 sister, Ruth Burton.

Sarah is survived by 4 children:  Arlena & Chip Hamling of Cooper, IA; Patty & David Bosley of Wichita, KS; Chet & Theresa Davis of Cooper, IA and Jason & Micki Tamerius of Grand Junction, IA; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Gene Coghill of Syracuse , KS; 2 sisters: Joyce Edwards of Midwest City, OK and Marlena Coghill of Oklahoma City, OK.
