Linda Miller
Linda is survived by her sons: Shawn Miller of Waunakee, Wisconsin and Kelley Miller of Ames, Iowa; her sister: Karen Clopton of Jefferson, Iowa; her brothers: Jon Jackson of Carroll, Iowa, Larry Jackson and Lonnie Jackson both of Mesa, Arizona. Linda Rae Miller, daughter of John and Norma (Sanderson) Jackson was born April 5, 1945 in Jefferson, Iowa. She lived all her life in Jefferson, and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1963. She was the third of five children. Linda married Thomas Miller on July 19, 1969. They had two sons, Shawn Miller and Kelley Miller. Linda worked in sales at the local Penney’s store, as a resource room aide at Jefferson-Scranton High School and served as house mom at the Pi Beta Phi sorority at Iowa State University for five years. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her two grandsons. She also enjoyed traveling with her family to various destinations. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Miller in 1985. Linda is survived by her two sons, Shawn and wife Amy of Waunakee, WI; Kelley Miller of Ames, IA; two grandsons, Brennen Miller and Lane Miller of Waunakee, WI; three brothers, Larry Jackson and Lonnie Jackson of Mesa, AZ, Jon and wife Bonnie Jackson of Carroll, IA and one sister, Karen and husband David Clopton of Jefferson, IA; many friends and relatives. Linda touched many lives and will be remembered for her patience, love and caring nature. She will be missed by many. |
