Funeral services for Helen Wright, age 64, of Jefferson, will be 10:00am Saturday February 28, 2009 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson. Interment will be in Willow Township Cemetery. Family visitation is from 5:00 – 7:00pm Friday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson. Surviving is her boyfriend Richard Rogan of Scranton.

Helen Eugenia Wright, the only child of John E. and Helen Nelson, was born September 8, 1944 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She graduated from Jefferson High School.

Helen worked several years in Perry for David Redfern.  She lived for many years on a farm south of Bayard.  Helen was an animal lover and enjoyed her pets.

Helen was a very easy going person, with a big heart.  She would help anyone the best she could.  We are very sad to see her go, as she will be missed by all who know her.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her partner and friend of 18 years, Richard Rogan.
