Funeral services for Ian Thomas Henderson, age 7, of Burnsville, Minnesota will be 10:30am Monday February 23, 2009 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.  Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.  Luncheon will follow at Gospel Open Bible Church in Jefferson, IA.  (No other visitation is planned.)

Ian Thomas Henderson passed into glory Thursday, February 19th, 2009.  He passed peacefully at home following a courageous nine month battle with brain cancer. 

Ian was born July 19th, 2001 in Burnsville, MN and was the only child of Thomas and Debra Henderson.  He was in the first grade at Aspen Academy in Prior Lake, MN. 

He loved to play games, build with Legos, write stories, was a math whiz and nightly thanked the Lord for many things including all rodents.  Ian was a baptized believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church in Lakeville, MN.

He is survived by his parents:  Thomas and Debra (Miner) Henderson of Burnsville, MN.  Grandmothers:  Irene Robinson of Carterville, IL and Kathleen Eineke of Perry, IA.  Great-Grandmother:  Mary Remele of Perry, IA.  Many other family members and many more friends.
