Funeral services for Roger Krieger, 44, of Grand Junction, Iowa, will be 10:30am Wednesday February 4, 2009 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction.  Burial of his cremains will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Grand Junction.

Friends may call after 2:00pm Tuesday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.  The family will greet friends at a memorial visitation from 6:00 – 8:00pm Tuesday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson. 

Roger Dean Krieger was born January 25, 1965 at Jefferson, IA, the son of Roderick Cox Krieger and Eleanor Elizabeth Tiffany Krieger. Roger was baptized at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Grand Junction, IA and attended East Greene School.

Roger married Jane Minnihan on February 15, 1986. They were the parents of a daughter, Brenna.

Roger began his career as a semi truck driver at the age of 18. He drove all over the United States. Roger spent several years living in Arizona hauling for Tavasci Livestock. He returned to live in Grand Junction about 7 years ago.

Roger enjoyed watching Nascar and was a Kyle Busch fan.

Roger passed away suddenly Saturday, January 31st at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. He was 44 years old. Preceding him in death was his dad.

Surviving are his daughters, Brenna Krieger of Johnston, Haley Krieger of Laurens; mother Eleanor Krieger of Grand Junction; 3 sisters, Susan Hogueison (John) of Glenwood, Teresa (Dale) Crouse of Dana, Regina (Jeff) Thorpe of Grand Junction; significant other, Rhonda Muldoon; 3 nephews, 3 nieces, 3 great nephews; other relatives and many friends.
