Memorial Services for Reneé Lynn Wells, 50, of Paton, will be 2:00 pm Sunday March 22, 2009 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction.  Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Grand Junction.  Friends may call after 3:00pm Saturday at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, where the family will be present to greet friends from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, and with the Vigil For The Deceased beginning at 7:30pm Saturday at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction.    

Survivors include her husband David Wells of Paton, IA; children Chad Olson of Boone, IA; John Wells of Jefferson, IA; Craig Olson of West Des Moines, IA and Michael Wells of Paton, IA; parents: Robert and Mary Goochey of Park Rapids, MN; 3 brothers: Aaron Goochey of Park Rapids, MN; Mike Goochey of Park Rapids, MN and Mark Goochey of England. 

Reneé Lynn Wells was born July 3rd, 1958 in Park Rapids, MN. She was the first born child of Bob and Mary Goochey.

Reneé attended Jefferson High School and North Iowa Area Community College.
She has held various jobs in the Jefferson area including; bookkeeper at Parker Industries and a librarian at Jefferson and Paton Public Libraries.
She was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church. She enjoyed music of all types, crocheting, knitting, and her dog Max.

On April 6th, 1984 Reneé and Dave Wells were joined in marriage in Jefferson, IA. Dave and Reneé enjoyed 25 happy years in the Jefferson and Paton area. The pride of her life was her four sons.

Reneé was an inspiration, always maintaining an optimistic attitude despite many health issues.

Reneé passed away March 18th, 2009 at Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines, IA.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Ed & Dorthy Rice and Charles and Effie Goochey.

She is survived by her husband Dave, of Paton; her sons Chad Olson (fiancée Stacey Johnson) of Boone; John Wells of Jefferson; Craig Olson (wife Molly) of West Des Moines; Mike Wells of Paton; her parents Bob & Mary Goochey of Parks Rapids, MN; and brothers Mike (wife Genny) of Park Rapids, MN; Mark (wife Shawn) of England; and Aaron (wife Kristi) of Park Rapids, MN.
Reneé will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
