A graveside memorial service for Carol Ann King Forant,  84, of Des Moines, formerly of Jefferson, will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, Iowa.  There are no immediate survivors.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.  Services were arranged with Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home of Jefferson.
