Jamie Danielle Thompson, 23, of Jamaica was given her wings on October 1, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday October 6, 2010 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m.   Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday October 7, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson, IA with  burial at Richland Township Cemetery, Guthrie County, IA.
 
Jamie was born November 16, 1986 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, IA to Dennis and Mickey Thompson.  Jamie is a 2005 graduate from Panorama High School in Panora, IA, and was currently enrolled at DMACC with a communications major.
 
Jamie Danielle is very compassionate girl, who accepted everyone’s views for what they were.  Jamie loved being artistic, bold, and colorful with a style all her own.
 
Jamie is preceded in death by her grandpa Bob Scheuermann, and friend Jamie Mischke.  Jamie  is survived by her mother Mickey of Jamaica, IA, father Dennis  of Whittemore, IA,  brother Corey Thompson of Jamaica, IA, grandmothers Irene Scheuermann of Herndon, IA, Wanda Thompson of Jefferson, IA,  grandfather O.J. Thompson of Grand Junction, IA,  and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her greatly.
