Funeral Services for Marjorie Yepsen, 80, of Jefferson will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.  Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.  Visitation will be after 1:00 pm Friday, April 9, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Jefferson-Scranton School foundation, or Jefferson Public Library.

Marjorie McAfee Yepsen, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully with her husband by her side on April 7, 2010, one day after her 80th birthday.
           
Marj was a graduate of Iowa Methodist School of Nursing and worked many years as a registered nurse in Jefferson, Iowa.  She was also very active at First United Methodist Church.
           
Marj is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arlon; her four children: David Yepsen (Mary Stuart); Tom Yepsen (Julie); Sara Feldman (John); and Mary Yepsen; six grandchildren; and a sister, Marcella Drannen.
           
Marj was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary Egan McAfee, and infant brother, Cecil McAfee, Jr.
